Carly Rae Jepsen Tokyo

I have two tickets to Carly Rae Jepsen in Tokyo/Yokohama on June 28th…

Very sadly I can’t find anyone to go with me, and taking an afternoon off work for it now seems quite sad. I’m guessing I have to sell back the tickets?

I’ve never done, tried or are aware of how to do that in Japan…. Does anyone have any idea or guidance?

Please and thank you in advance!

  1. Hey, I haven’t met you

    But this is crazy

    How ‘bout next time

    Buy one, maybe?

  2. Go solo! I just saw hanabie and nemophila live, went alone, and it was awesome

  3. Sell tickets online. One rule is you can’t sell the ticket for higher price than you bought it.

  4. Ticket.co.jp
Useful for buying and selling tickets, at least for stage plays and musicals. I assume concerts are fine too 🙂

  5. Depends on the platform you bought it from.
Pia (cloak) has official resale platform where they take a 10% cut but you can sell them there legally. Buyers get to rename the tickets under their name so there won’t be misidentification.

  6. That sucks! I ll go with you if you really want to go! I ll buy you a concert shirt as a thank you gift! 🙂

  7. Like everyone else, just go solo! If you can move the ticket to someone, even better! Those can’t be cheap.

Of the hundreds of times I’ve gone to experience live music since middle school, there’s maybe a dozen times I didn’t go alone. The few times I didn’t go because “no one else was going” I still regret.

  8. There’s nothing sad about going to a concert by yourself. It’ll be a special experience in Japan to treasure, and a chance to make some new fan friends! Do sell the spare though, or maybe post on your social media that you have an extra to sell—a friend or acquaintance may come out of the woodwork and have a great time going with you!
