The wet season may well be over but we’re about to get our first typhoon. I’m in Fukuoka so we are expecting heavy rain from Monday. 😆

  1. No highs of over 33 in Tokyo for the next few weeks predicted! We beat the first hurdle. It’s been up to 38 for over a week now.

  2. From what the news was saying it’s going to stay over the country for a while too, so it could cause a lot of flooding (?) I didn’t see the precipitation expectations though

  3. here’s what i don’t get. they just recently declared rainy season over in some parts of japan. but typhoon season is up to the month of november. how do they distinguish?

  4. No worries as soon as the typhoon passes it will be HOT AF, and things will dry out quickly.

  5. Happy to get some rain after that half assed tsuyu. Rice fields are drier than Kishidas skin at the moment

  6. Well, that explains the change in the weather. I’d been in Hakone the last couple days for a mini vacation and was trying to stay away from the internet, and wondering what the sudden shift from the awful humidity to something more moderate was.
