Hi, we have about 10 cans of hypoallergenic baby formula that we can’t use (turns out baby is more allergic than we thought and we needed to switch to an elemental formula). Does anyone know if there’s somewhere in Kyoto or Tokyo we could donate them? Would hate for them to go to waste!

There are a number of Facebook groups for foreign parents in Japan where parents donate clothes and stuff. Sadly, there are people on there that say they need donations and then go and sell all the clothes on Mercari etc. Most people are genuine though and would appreciate it. Otherwise, you could always contact your city/ward office and ask them if they know of an organization that would accept them. They should be able to provide that information for you.
I’ve sent a PM….
Maybe you can donate them to the [Little Olive Child Foundation](https://www.littleolivechildfoundation.org/)
Any baby items are interested if it’s available. Expecting our first baby this September.
There’s a LINE group for parents of Japanlife, you can DM me if you’re interested in joining. There are also a lot facebook groups where parents share / resell / trade baby stuff, you can search them by yourself or again DM me if you need me to send you the links.
Not sure where you’re located but Meguro foodbank would gladly accept them [https://foodbankmeguro.com/](https://foodbankmeguro.com/)
