[AJPW Spoilers] Finish to Triple Crown Championship Match – Yuji Nagata vs Yuma Anzai

1. Damn sounds like the crowd really wanted anzai to win.

   He debuted only a year ago that’s crazy he’s even less experienced than fujita and oiwa but seems to be very over already

2. Anzai should have won it. It could be interesting and fresh for AJPW, but I guess they want to put belt on Ashino

4. Anzai is really promising, AJPW should be fine with him at the top in a few years (or a few months). I loved his interactions with Naito at the last Champion Carnival show and All Together Again, feels like it could build something like the Okada/Kaito rivalry. Would be cool if NJPW helped AJPW to build Anzai in the same way.

5. While I think an Anzai win would have been cool and a great way to really cement Anzai as the next Ace, i don’t think it’s his time just yet.

   There’s couple of scenarios that can now happen: 1. Yuma Aoyagi, the man I wish and believe is most deserving of winning the Triple Crown off Nagata does so and has a lengthy reign with the belt. 2. Kento Miyahara wins back the belt from Nagata (it would be super obvious but Miyahara is the most reliable figure in AJPW and is still the Ace) 3. The worst case scenario is Suwama ends up beating Nagata and getting another reign with the belt.

6. Blue Justice: most dangerous of the new Japan dads since Suzuki is technically a “murder grandpa.”

   His suplexes, submissions, and facials have always been great. His t-shirt is the bomb too.

7. Great finish. I don’t mind the long game. It’ll mean that much more when Anzai eventually wins the title.
