Japan health panel warns COVID-19 cases may rise during summer

1. I did a double take and thought this was old news. Apparently not.

2. Of course it will. In fact I would be very suspicious if COVID just disappeared right after getting reclassified.

3. Didn’t Covid disappear yet? Like there’s probably very little cases.

4. Was anyone expecting otherwise once people stopped wearing masks in public?

5. My fiance and I just got back from Japan. Everyone there still religiously wears masks both in and outside! I think whats been their biggest downfall is their close proximity. They also just opened the country recently to tourists, so I expect many foreigners will be traveling to Japan over the summer.
