I’m going to be leaving for tokyo in \~2 weeks, and have been stressing about my itinerary! I feel like I’m not doing enough and want to see more sights/maximize my time. Any help would be appreciated. (especially with any food/shopping suggestions!)
Day 1: Arrive in the evening/night
Day 2: Shinjuku
a) Shopping (Don Quijote, Kinokuniya Books, etc.)
b) Omoide Yokocho
c) Gyoen National Garden, Meiji Jingu
d) Tokyo Government Observation Deck (at night)
Day 3: Shibuya
a) Shibuya Crossing, Hachiko Dog Statue
b) Shibuya Sky
c) Shopping (Mega Don Quijote, Loft, etc.)
d) Harajuku (Takeshita Street, Kiddyland, etc.)
Day 3: Sanrio Puroland (planning to spend half-day)

Day 4: Ikebukuro (this day is kind of a mess…)
a) Sunshine City, Sunshine 60 Street, Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Hello Kitty Café, etc.
b) Mutekiya
Day 5: Shinjuku –> Ginza –> Teamlab Planets
a) Government Observation Deck (morning)
b) Ginza (tips on what to do here?)
c) Tsukiji Outer Market
d) Teamlab Planets
Day 6: ??? (possible ideas: Kichijoji, Shin Okubo, Asakusa)
Day 7: Leave in afternoon

What are your interests? It’s hard to give you advice without this, especially as there’s no clear theme to your current itinerary
Ginza is a blast. Try to go on Saturday when the city shuts down the central street. Check out the 12 floor Uniqlo, Muji, Itoya, an awesome toy store, amazing commercial architecture, great people watching.
