[OC] Hiroshima Castle in the spring

1. Only went to Hiroshima for a day trip, but it was a really beautiful city! I was there a few days before the G7 summit and there were police patrolling everywhere. Would definitely go back to explore more of the city and check out some of the temples which I didn’t get to before they closed.

2. Such a beautiful castle.

3. I was stationed on the USS Midway in Yokosuka and while it was in drydock was sent for a few months to a Marine base in Iwakuni which is about 30 minutes from Hiroshima. I visited the memorial and the castle and it was one of my favorite experiences of my time there.
