Not a Japanese expert but a basketball enthusiast. I usually say something like “isho ni yarouka”. If they respond positively ” ichi tai ichi” for one on one. It’s worked for me even if my Japanese isn’t perfect.
I’ve heard of マンツーマン used to mean “one to one” before but not sure if it would also work in a sports context.
