  1. The financial media blame the demographics for Japan’s poor economic performance but that’s putting the cart before the horse. Endless decades of grinding, corporate neoliberalism has made the populace give up on having children. But Tokyo is home to 304,900 resident millionaires, making it the city with the second most millionaires in the world so I’m glad some people won out.
