  1. But like what then ? Would it just be a one off ? Would it build to something ?

  2. Sure and Karl is loyal husband that doesn’t cheat. At most AJ would send a video message like he did for TNA

  3. I remember reading he was going to be in Karl corner at wrestle kingdom last year but the injury happened.

  4. I remember when Anderson left WWE, he was saying had he & Gallows left, were supposed to close the debut Dynamite, and Anderson would have beaten Moxley at WK for the US title.

Anderson always claims he was going to be part of something big that just missed happening.

  5. There’s actually more interesting things about the implications of this quote than AJ making an NJPW appearance. Here it is in full:

    >This will be good clickbait as well. We were doing a FaceTime with — it was our boss at the time [meaning their boss at NJPW], Triple H, Gallows, Anderson, A.J. Styles and we were figuring out what we were gonna do. This would have probably been in September and maybe August? I don’t know but end of August, whatever it was. But we’d almost basically decided on A.J. Styles coming over and helping me win that match versus (Hiroshi) Tanahashi (at NJPW Burning Spirit) and then, the very next night would’ve been Monday Raw.

So what they’re saying is that NJPW knew they were going back to WWE way before it happened, and could’ve had Tana take the belt off Anderson at Burning Spirit. Instead they chose to have him beat Tana, run the garbage angle with Hikuleo, and waste a WK spot on him.

If that isn’t bullshit, and GB are major carnies so it very well could be, that’s… certainly a choice that NJPW made.
