Has anyone had any experience buying tickets for the ferry to Chichijima through the online portal?
I registered, plugged in my info, and paid for round trip tickets… but never got a confirmation email or reservation number (which you need to check or change your reservation online). I’ve checked the email and log in, so that shouldn’t be the problem. The charge on my credit card also went through.
I’d give them a call, but I’m at work during their business hours. Haven’t heard from their contact email, so I was just wondering if anyone has had similar issues or any advice on how I should proceed. TIA!

“have you checked the spam folder” would be the first reaction.
But anyway, unless things changed a lot in the last couple years, buying “tickets only” is subject to you proving you have an accomodation for your stay. They can refuse your boarding if you don’t show that, so it’s better to double check before you just pop up on the day. Ogasawara is one of the less accessible areas in Japan, honestly try giving them a call to check your resa is OK, during lunch hours for instance…
