Any tips to study in Japan?

So I have been meaning to study animation in Japan but can’t find a lot of information about it.

Can Anyone help me?

  1. Most of the information is probably in Japanese.

There are some foreign animators working in the animation industry, so it might be easier to ask them for information. Try checking Twitter and other sites.

  2. I spent five years on the study in Japan path with most classes in English, had a ton of fun, and learned Japanese along the way. Thanks to a few good professors I even got some education out of it. (I built my career here on skills I learned before coming to Japan.)

If you want to actually study here and learn something you’ll need to be able to pass N1, do well on the EJU, and also have the listening and writing skills to match. You can improve your speaking and hand writing along the way so those can be ignored at the beginning.

You could possibly get into university with less, you might even be able to graduate, and you might even be able to get a job. However I don’t know anyone who lasted long here doing the minimums and it’s certainly got the way to thrive here.
