Hi! I’m a new student living in Japan and its been a bit difficult finding a real estate agent which aligns with my interests.
Basically, all English speaking agents I’ve contacted so far are interested only in recommending apartments in their local area of expertise, and are not as enthusiastic following my preferences (ie, somewhere along the Mita Line). It is a bit of a struggle, trying to find agencies along the Mita Line which have english speaking staff on deck.
Would appreciate it a lot if you could recommend English speaking agents or agencies, prefereably those who specialize in properties along the Mita Line, but non-local Mita agents are also welcome 🙂
I’ve tried out Balleggs, Leopalace, Able, Aeras, Minimini, E-heya and a lot of other agencies I contacted directly through Suumo listings.

Have you actually gone to real estate offices near the area you want to live in? Real estate is pretty localized to the ward or train stations. Another option is to use a website like suumo, find a listing you like, then scroll down to the bottom where the real estate agent is listed.
The best apartments can only be found if you are actually in the office. By the time you see them online they are probably gone. Go to a station you like on the Mita line and walk into real estate agencies there

I used this site and found 2 really helpful English speaking agents. they helped us soo much and they both did everything so that we can find a perfect home as soon as possible 😊 even if our situation was quiet difficult (moved here with my husband and a big dog, we are foreigners and students😅) we contacted them months before we moved here and both of them scheduled a lot of home visiting as soon as we arrived in tokyo 😅 that were some stressful 2 weeks with probably 30 viewings. at the end we got accepted for two homes and then we could move in after another week. so it was really easy and fast even with our complicated situation and big/many requirements 😅
I used gaijinpot when I first arrived in Japan
