  1. The title is missing just a couple key details..

    > According to the police, the woman came to the station at around 4 p.m. on June 15 and reported at the lost and found section on the first floor that she had lost her passport at home. A staff member of the accounting division who responded to her inquiry judged that it was unlikely that her passport would be submitted as found property, and urged her to search her home again. The woman, who had initially spoken in Japanese, became agitated and started shouting in a foreign language, then tore up someone else’s lost property report that was nearby.

  2. Lot of weird racist apologists in these comments.

Shitty behavior doesn’t justify saying those words to anyone.

  3. So to give the maximum benefit of the doubt… maybe she was trying to report the passport as ***stolen*** from her apartment but her Japanese wasn’t great, and the stress and frustration got to her?

Still pretty nuts to rip up a form, but I could understand pretty frustrated with people not understanding you and trying to send you away without any help if she believed it was stolen.

If she really did just **lose** it in her house then, woo boy, dats some crazy. XD

  4. There aren’t Japanese swear words. This cop ripped the person who lost their passport a new one so hard it’s news worthy.
