1. Awesome documentary.

   I can’t wait for this upcoming Forbidden Door. It’s one for the history books already with:

   Bryan Danielson vs Okada
   Omega vs Ospreay
   MJF vs Tanahashi
   Jungleboy vs Sanada

   I’m drooling.

2. Posted this in excitement while I was watching it and I’ve finished so here’s some notes:

   ​

   1) A Real Man’s Man makes an appearance in this which surprised me but he was great and said young prospects should always study NJPW matches and their training methods if they ever want to be good in wrestling.

   2) IT’S STIIIIING and he talked a lot about how much he loved wrestling in Japan during his WCW run. Mentioned the Fukuoka Dome and Tokyo Dome as two of his favourite places ever.

   3) They actually spend a fair bit talking about WCW/NJPW which surprised me too but I’m glad they actually gave attention to it and didn’t gloss over it.

   4) Sting and Tony Schiavone both advocated for future Forbidden Door events in Japan and Sting mentioned the Tokyo Dome and Fukuoka Dome as two places and said he wants to do an event in Japan one more time before he finishes.

   5) I’ve never heard Chris Jericho be so diplomatic about Harold Meij.

3. Forbidden Door told Chris Benoit that HGH would prevent concussions, told R Kelly the age of consent was 13 and gave Goldberg from The Mighty Ducks his first beer. Disgusting.

5. If this is the documentary from last year it’s pretty good. Njpw are great at this sort of thing

6. I usually don’t buy PPVs, but this one is worth the $50 for Okada vs Danielson and Ospreay vs Omega alone.
