Please help with my itinerary!! – Solo Traveler (first time)

Hi everyone – my itinerary is super loose as I need some help to plan. I’ve run out of ideas. I’ve had a really stressful work year so I just want to wander, see some sights, and enjoy the country. I really need some recommendations for some things to do!

I like Manga, Music, Nature, Art, Drinking – That’s really it lol

I need help:

\- Filling in some recs
\- Should I get a room in one or several cities in Tokyo?
\- Do I need a JR Pass for this trip?
\- Any additional comments
\- Did I miss anything for a good first time trip?

Any advice, tips would be greatly appreciated. It has been a dream of mine to visit Japan since I was in grade school!

みんなありがとう!!

  1. Just stay in 1 spot in Tokyo. Its easy enough to get around so not work changing hotels.

  2. If you’re staying in Asakusa, don’t waste money on the Narita Express. The Keisei Skyaccess (not Skyliner) is cheaper and more convenient (direct one-seat ride).

JR Pass is probably about a wash; use a calculator to confirm.

  3. im just doing to copy/paste my list of activities for Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto for you, there are links with more informations on them, so you can decide on your own with are interesting for you.
