Hi! Currently in Japan and looking to try and find a copy of Clannad (manga). So far most stores we’ve been into do not have it. Does anyone have recommendations on used book stores that carry older, discontinued manga?

Mandarake has quite the selection of manga, you could find one nearby and check with staff (on the manga floor) if they have it in stock.
mandarake is a used goods store so it has tons of old merch. was able to snag a JOJO artbook from the 2000’s and my SO found macross frontier figures
BOOK OFF has second hand manga so you can look there. Each bishop has different inventory so you might need to look tho
Check out Junkudo in Ikebukuro if you are near it

Bookoff and any of the thousands of mom and pop used manga shops. And Yahoo!Auctions or Mercari.
