Currently serving in Korea, wife and son are in japan, leave has been approved and would like to visit my family in japan.
I’ve called the embassy here in korea and no answer. My wife has called the consulate in fukuoka but their info seems off on conflicting on what is needed.
I know I am eligible for reentry into Japan as I am married to my Japanese spouse and I’m on the family register in japan.
I’ve been told I need bank account information for my job and stuff but that seems off for the visa I would fall into.
I will try to call the embassy again today and will email them as well but has anyone need through this recently with entry to japan as a spouse of a Japanese national?
The MOFA site just lists what visa categories the have, not what is needed.

I think what you are looking for should be [this page on the Embassy of Japan in Korea](https://www.kr.emb-japan.go.jp/people/ryouzibu/visa_sonota_jp.html) for visa applications for people who do not have a certificate of eligibility.

I just sent you a chat, give me a call I can help you through the process.
