Kaito Kiyomiya on booting Okada in the face: “I was very emotional. Even before the match started, I felt that I wasn’t being wrestled against, like I didn’t exist. And even after the match started, I was being provoked, so by the time I realized it, my body was moving.”

  1. I can’t find confirmation, did they say the top two in each block advances this year in the G1? I remember hearing that but the sites I’ve checked just mention the 4 blocks.

  2. He damn sure made the most of that kick anyway. It looked great and had the intended effect, the ensuing brawl/storyline wouldn’t have made sense if it was just a regular, somewhat stiff, kick. I do wonder if it was supposed to bust Okada open though. We all know how Okada feels about bleeding… I wonder if he got any heat for it

  3. Still new to NJPW. So Kaito did a shoot kick ? And was that beat down after also shoot-ish?
