  1. When SANADA says this about Jungle Boy, a random guy who accepted an open challenge, it comes off as decent heeling.

When Jungle Boy says it about someone who’s a much bigger star than he is, who holds a title of a partner promotion he’s challenging for, it just makes him look dumb.

  2. I’m sure Jungle Boy is working as a heel in the interview. But I’ll take the bait for the sake of getting ahead of the AEW sweaties that are plaguing the sub.

SANADA not hearing of Jungle Boy makes sense. Jungle Boy has really only been relevant in the industry for 4 years — to a niche fan base. Jungle Boy not knowing SANADA is kind of embarrassing. SANADA has worked CMLL, ROH, IMPACT, and NJPW. For a company so gung ho about alternatives in the industry — their fans and their stars sure have an issue with supporting alternatives 🤷🏾‍♂️

  3. Dude hasn’t paid attention to LIJ in the last 5 years?

Does he like wrestling or is he just Luke Perry’s son?

  4. I got a feeling SANADA gonna help play a part in Jack’s heel turn it started with losing to MJF then it will be losing to SANADA then he will turn on Hook. But Jack is losing 2 world title matches back to back as a face.

  5. Dudes don’t realize he’s just try to SANADA on SANADA.

SANADA claims to not watch the product at all and only worries about his current match.

  6. Wouldn’t surprise me that Perry hasn’t seen Sanada’s work.

Dude is 26 and worked the indies previously. Sounds like he’s been busy with his hot girlfriend, Anna Jay. Give him some slack for not watching TV. He’s been busy.

  7. Everyone in the terrible sub is saying that Sanada vs. Jack is appropriate because Sanada is a midcarder with a top title…

“Tell me you don’t watch NJPW without telling me you don’t watch NJPW.”

  8. Remember guys: NJPW may be the biggest niche of all the niches in pro wrestling, but it’s still a niche compared to WWE and AEW. Plus, Sanada isn’t even the most popular wrestler in NJPW, so it makes a lot of sense that someone hasn’t watched a single match of his. I would have my doubts if he was Naito, Okada or Tanahashi, but come on, Sanada may be very popular in Japan but outside it’s pretty debatable at best.

  9. Even his tweets are completely lacking in charisma. Kinda sad when your dad was an actor and you don’t have any idea how to emote.

  10. Im perfectly fine with this tbh. SANADA and JB bringing this energy to interviews at the very least is giving the match an edge. Something to make it feel personal.

I’d still rather this matchup wasn’t the one they went with, but given it’s set, I’m glad to see they’re actually adding something to it. (SANADA’s still the one cooking though 😉 )

  11. This has to be a work on both ends. Sanada never seen a Jack Perry match, Jack Perry never seen a Sanada match!? Tf GOING ON!? 😂

  12. Fun fact in a torumyon mexico show jungle boy and douki were on opposite teams in a ten man tag that also featured jun akiyama

  13. I’ve been watching NJPW throughout SANADA’s entire run with the company and somehow I feel the same.
