  7. I have to side with SANADA on this. I really wish it was either MIRO, or any member of The House of Black that would’ve answered his challenge. Hell, PAC vs. SANADA would’ve been a bad-ass match.

  8. Being in the building for dominion and all together and seeing not one Japanese fan cheer for sanada was shocking. He really is a jungle boy level champion.

  9. There is no chance the match will be a squash match in the traditional sense. I do think it will be like 15-20 minutes of JB surviving and just can’t get it done. It will be a great match without a doubt.

  10. I think this Is set up as a sink or swim moment for Jack Perry. I’m not sure if I buy him as a main eventer but if this match that few people are all that excited for ends up being one of the stronger matches on the card, it will be be worth reconsidering my stance.

  18. I do think thats its a bit disrespectful to the IWGP Champ because I dont think JB is even worthy to take the open challenge. Rush or Andrade wouldve made more sense.

  19. The amount of gate keeper’s in this thread is sad. This match is Will Ospreay vs orange Cassidy all over again. Jack Perry sells like crazy to whoever doesn’t know him. Sanada isn’t beating top guys right now outside of NJPW. He’s not there yet. Hopefully he gets there but idk.

  21. I’m gonna paraphrase what I said over in SC: Jungle Boy fits into the story they’re telling about Sanada not facing high level competition. Jungle Boy isn’t a top guy but neither are Hiromu, Yota or anyone in the G1 block Sanada is in.

  25. It kind of annoys me how we give Tanahashi for AEWs Title Match for Forbidden door, but we get Jack Perry… Adam Cole, Chris Jericho, Claudio, Adam Page, Andrade, MIRO, Takeshita and more could’ve been a better choice.

    I would’ve loved to see Jay White accept and go for the title since it’s technically not only a New Japan show. But 🤷🏼‍♂️ shouting into the void

  28. my only gripe coming at this whole situation is why tf is buddy called “jungle boy”?! could you bury a guy any more than plastering a name like that on him. buddy needa to start going by literally ANY other name if he’s anything other than a tag team guy.

    “jungle boy” is passable for a tag team character since there’s no time for complex, unrelatable characters who can’t present themselves to the spectator rather quickly with four or more presences present, but turn up the binoculars on that gimmick and its soaking with random stereotypical caricature vibes as if mr mcmahon came up with it. jack perry is konda sketchy cause he sounds like he’s gonna go piratey on us, but just calling him by a real name is a rub and a compliment already sheesh

  29. “jungle boy”, while easy to undrstand, is little more than an endearing slur as far as respect goes. if buddy is gonna be in singles competition, lets not call him joe jobber
