Hi. So I have a residence card with a few years of validity left and I am planning to leave Japan temporarily for a few weeks. However, my departure airport and reentry airport is different (I managed to find a deal). So will there be any issues if I use the special reentry permit? Or it doesnt matter as long as I have the permit?

Absolutely no difference where you leave/re-enter. The card stays in your passport, and there’s actually 2 separate spaces to write this info (outgoing + incoming). So its fine.
Nope, no issue. I travel every few weeks for work, often leave through Narita, come back via Haneda (or vice versa) depending on route. Have come back via Osaka and Nagoya a few times too.
