going to a few cities in japan over 2 weeks in august, and i’m interested in going to a kawayuka probably in kyoto. does anyone have any recommendations where the food’s on par with the atmosphere of the terrace? i found so many highly rated restaurants for dinner in kyoto, that i don’t wanna risk losing out on good food for the terrace, so i’m trying to find great ones. so far i’ve found ones with lower ratings 🙁 i’d also be interested in just doing drinks at a kawayuka instead of the full dinner, but not sure if places offer that.
also just in general any other summer must-dos (i am having trouble finding a reliable source with set dates for summer festivals, and then of course i have all the summer foods i’ll try).
