So for some reason, my water heater control panel doesn’t turn on anymore yet I still have hot water. I have tried resetting the main breaker and it still remains off. I was wondering if anyone knows what the issue could be and whether I could fix it myself before I contact my landlord. Thank you in advance!

Call the landlord and don’t try fixing shit you don’t understand as it may cause more problems
you should’ve been enrolled in some kind of renter’s insurance when you signed the contract. that’s what they’re for! get them to fix it because if you fiddle with it and make it look like you broke it, insurance won’t cover.
