I think educating youth *and teachers* on how to use generative *AI as a tool* to improve critical thinking, creativity, and such, along with proactively teaching about how to avoid scams, data leaks, and privacy concerns would be much more beneficial than simply limiting its use.
Teach people how to use new tools properly and safely, so that new tools can be effectively integrated into new education and creative workflows.
This is unenforceable, ai detectors are only about as accurate as a coin flip currently
I don’t know how a student would be accessing a device where they could use an AI when taking a test, but good for them.
The tone of the thread title and what the article is saying are nearly polar opposites. I’m more surprised they are advocating the use of AI at all
