6 days in Tokyo: Should I swap out Kamakura for more city exploring?

So I’ve been set on going Kamakura on Day 5, then expecting to go back to Shibuya around 7PM for a last stroll (no big plans since I already went on Day 3)

I’m just wondering if it’s not ideal to proceed with Kamakura – might not be giving enough time for the city, Though I still want to have a good balance of absorbing the more traditional side of Tokyo

Should I opt for maybe Tsukiji/Ginza or Akihabara on Day 5 instead? Note that I’m not the biggest anime fan though. And if ever, where can I possibly slot in Asakusa (replace Ueno?) to somewhat give more traditional balance?

Do let me know though if my itinerary looks balanced with Kamakura. I would still prefer to push through with the original plan

My current plans for reference (Hotel in Shinjuku):

* Day 1: Shinjuku (5PM-11PM)
* Day 2: Ghibli/Warner Bros (10AM-7PM)
* Day 3: Harajuku/Shibuya (10AM-10PM)
* Day 4: Tokyo Disneyland (9AM-9PM)
* Day 5: Kamakura (9AM-5PM)
* Day 6: Ueno (9AM-3:30PM)

Thanks!

  1. Akihabara is honestly boring if you aren’t into anime or something along those lines. I go every time just to go to one specific store then leave.
    I’d go to Kamakura, it’s lovely and you’ll have a great time!

  2. Explore Kamakura mate it’s beautiful if you have time visit Sasuke Inari-jinja it’s lovely
