15 days in Kyushu, Hiroshima, and Osaka itinerary check

Any advice on the below Kyushu/Hiroshima itinerary would be greatly appreciated. We start after five days in Seoul, South Korea, before flying back to Seoul from Osaka. My partner and I have never visited Kyushu/Hiroshima before and have only visited Japan once previously. The only days we cannot change is the 3rd of December to the 6th of December in Beppu due to an expensive hotel we got very cheap on those dates (plus we want to relax there from a very active, intense trip). Anywhere else I can change entirely.

*26th November – 29th November -* **Fukuoka**

Day 1 –

Arrive in Fukuoka mid day – Potentially attend the Sumo Wrestling tournament at the Fukuoka Kokusai Center (if timings align and we get tickets), end the night at Nakasu food stalls

Day 2 – Visit Canal City, Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Kushida Shrine, Shofukuji, Fukuoka Castle Ruins, Ohori Park, end the night at Nakasu food stalls

Day 3 – Day trip to Dazaifu; Keidei Art Museum, Dazaifu Tenman-Gu shrine, Kyushu National Museum, Komyozen-ji garden, wander the streets and shops

*29th November – 1st December -* **Nagasaki**

Day 1 – Arrive in Nagasaki, walk a route down from Suwa Shrine to Nagasaki Museum of History & Culture, across Meganebashi Bridge, Dejima, Nagasaki Chinatown,Tojin-Yashiki, Dutch Slope, Koshi-Byo, ending in Oura Church and Glover Garden (This is a very long day/route)

Day 2 – Sanno Shrine one-legged Torii Gate, Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Park, Urakami Cathedral, and maybe a trip to Mount Inasa?

*1st December – 3rd December -* **Kumamoto**

Day 1 – Mainly relaxing day – Visit Kumamoto Castle, Kumamoto Prefectural Traditional Crafts Center, Hosokawa Residence, Suizenji Jojuen Garden

Day 2 – Unsure, potentially a day trip to Kagoshima or Takachiho Gorge if a route is possible by public transit

*3rd December -* **Mount Aso & Beppu**

Leave Kumamoto and travel to Beppu via Mt Aso. Stop off at Aso station and leave our luggage in a locker. Spend day trekking and exploring Mt Aso before leaving to arrive at Beppu at night.

*4th December – 6th December -* **Beppu**

Day 1 – Beppu Seven Hells, (Multiple?) public Onsens, Beppu Ropeway to Mount Tsurumi, steam cooking, being burried in hot sand etc., relaxed day

Day 2 – Day trip to Yufuin – Kinrin Lake, Yufuin Showa Museum, Yufuin Floral Village, probably more onsens, maybe back to Beppu to visit the monkey zoo, relaxed day

*6th Dec – 8th December* **Hiroshima**

Day 1 – Peace Memorial Museum, Peace Memorial Park, Atomic Dome, Orizuru Tower, Hiroshima Castle, Shukkeien Park, a walking route from Nigitsu Shrine to Onagatenmangu

Day 2 – Day trip to Itsukushima – Itsukushima Shinre, there are multiple shrines and shopping centres in the immediate vicinity, most of the day would be a walking trip to Miyajima Ropeway and Mount Misen Observatory

*8th – 10th December -* **Osaka**

Day 1 & 2 – We’ve visited Osaka last year and we travel back to South Korea on the 10th so we’d likely do last minute shopping and visiting friends with no real itinerary before heading back.

  1. If you are in a good shape, to ascend mount Misen start from Omoto Park it’s lovely and you’ll be almost alone in this trail.
And go down with rail or another trail
