Any experience of how long it would take get response from immigration after submitting additional documents requested for a pr application?

1. In my case there was no response after I sent the requested documents. They just sent me the postcard to pick up my new card a few month later.

2. I’d say it would depend on what the additional documents request was….

   What I mean there is Some documents may require more time for them to check for authenticity with the entity which has jurisdiction over the issuing documents than others.

   So I guess the question is…. What additional documents did they request from you?

3. Thank you. They requested My wife pension document, my employment letter( submitted at the time of application but asked again), my latest tax document.

4. I submitted additional documents 2 weeks ago. Got a letter last week that says I could pick up the PR visa. Going there today!

5. 7 months means you are far along in the process but I hey want extra documents before they make a final decision.

   There are actually cases of when they request extra documents at the beginning, such as when you didn’t hand in everything on the list if everything they really want (which is different from the website and application).

6. First time took 3 months for more documents and then more 3 months for ダメです。

   Tried again this year and got more documents after one month. Still waiting (2 months in total now)

7. It takes an immigration amount of time.
