Online access to Lets Try digital books (WIP)

Hi all. I have been working on an online version of the lets try textbooks and am making it publicly available.

I’m sure at least some of you in ES have come upon the same problem I and many of the schools in my city have, that there is no online version of the lets try textbooks for 3rd and 4th grades.

The private publishers for the upper grade textbooks have fully online versions of theirs, but the lets try books are provided by the ministry of education and they have not made anything available.

This means there are a lot of circumstances where you might not be able to use the lets try digital book in class at all. Especially now that we are a couple of years into GIGA school, schools using only chromebooks and ipads etc will have no way to use it.

My solution before this was to pull all the data and build a google drive with it all separated out into units with some simple slides etc to help with activities, but I have since been working on a fully online clone of the digital textbook.

**A word of warning** however, this is a work in progress. At this time there is **no functionality beyond unit 5** (other than turning the pages), and there may be some quirks to how it operates compared to the original software. I have added some features, such as full screen video, and longer audio opens a control window with a progress bar.

But in any case, it is up and running and available now on my plip-plop-land website for ALTs.
