1. DOUKI getting an AEW crowd to turn on Jungle Boy is one of the funniest things to ever happen in pro wrestling history

2. DOUKI had 10 minutes to become memorable to anyone watching at home who doesn’t watch NJPW. Turns out that was 9:30 more than he needed.

3. It feels like so many wrestlers are thrown off by/struggle with the camera on the turnbuckle, that it makes me wonder if there’s a better way to get that shot or something.

4. Every time I see Douki I think “LOOK KEVIN! LOOK! ITS THE DOUKI CHOKI!!!”

5. I absolutely understand the complaints about Jungle Boy vs Sanada, I think the criticisms are valid but I really think that match could be really good. I’m excited for it ngl.

9. I recently bought a Nintendo switch off amazon for zelda and for the aew game. Fucking thing crapped out last week so now I gotta buy another one in short order because I want to play as dlc douki. Dudes basically the slightly less cool desperado and despy doesn’t get enough love. Guys like despy, douki, and bandido hit that Hayabusa high note that got me into being entertained by this stuff as a kid

10. I like how Jungle Boy didn’t do the usual “lie on top of the table” taking of the move. Felt more organic.

11. DOUKIMANIA!!!!! Shame there was no douki-choky in the match but hearing the crowd start chanting for him was the best!!

13. Great work by DOUKI at getting over in basically 120 seconds, and honestly this is good for Perry too because the crowd turning like this on him should spur Khan to pull the trigger on his heel turn sooner rather than later. He usually drags this stuff out way too long.
