Hello! I have been living in Japan for around one year now and my expiration date is coming like asap (30 June 2023). I have submitted focuments to extend on May 25 and I have received a mail asking for more documents early-mid June. I’m getting kinda anxious because there’s only 2 days left before the deadline. Is this normal? And will I still be fine after 30 June if the mail hasnt come yet?

When you submit your documents you get a stamp on the back of your card that gives you an extension.
I literally have submitted my paperwork the day before my card expired and it was flne.
If you have successfully submitted your application then your stay is automatically extended by 2 months. Basically, you’re fine.
