i’m wondering about the lawson ticketing system. if you’ve been chosen as a ticket lottery winner, since they ask you to input your credit card; does it automatically deduct it from your cc?
or do they notify you first and perhaps give you a timeframe when you have to confirm to purchase it before its gone?

Yes they auto deduct it. They deduct it before they even announce that you win so if you see it in your statement then you know you got it. If it gets declined by the card provider like what happened to me one time, your tickets would be given to someone else without any chance given to repay so make sure you have enough limit.
The money is deducted regardless of your ticketing status, because if you stand up to Taylor Swift, her army will get you, then she’ll write a mean song about you.
