Hi,
I’m looking at applying to language school \[‘Akamonkai’\]([https://www.akamonkai.ac.jp/english/admission/guideline/documents.html](https://www.akamonkai.ac.jp/english/admission/guideline/documents.html)). The application resume has a section for family. Am I right in thinking this is like a kid or marriage partner, not siblings and parents etc? I feel silly asking but there’s a very long delay between responses from them and a tight deadline. Unsure why this section exists either way really.

That typically means who you live with.
You know who you should ask about that?

You have to fill in your family details here (parents, siblings). Doesn’t matter if you live with them or not. It’s a basic requirement for all language schools.
