2. I hope not. We’ve already done the slumping Okada storyline in 2 of his last five G1s. Enough already.

3. This was one of my low key favourite promos in recent years. It’ll always get a pop from me; can remember my sister in tears laughing at it at the time.

4. That would be great for a bit.

5. Once we get past WK and the SANADA/Naito story there’s all sorts of potential with Okada as “the establishment” and all this new blood gunning for the top spot. I honestly hope he leans in even harder with the heelishness/arrogance next year.

10. My whacky dream for this G1: Okada walks to the ring for each match carrying a balloon version of his opponent which he dramatically pops in their face during his ring introduction. Balloon-based intimidation Okada.

11. I still miss Okada bopping Rocky on the head every time
