1. Hey, Shingo did call out Joe and Claudio in April. Maybe ROH can make that offer instead?

2. My biggest disappointment with the show was having LIJ on the pre show in what was basically a standard meaningless NJPW match. They deserved a spot on the card with some kind of build up. I can’t blame him and Hiromu for sounding disappointed too.

3. These rosters are very loaded. Maybe they do a 2 night event next time?

4. No lies detected. I know it was a fully-loaded card, but AEW could’ve squeezed in Takagi/Hiromu vs. any tag-team. Hell, have LIJ vs. The House of Black on that card for the trios titles.

5. Please keep the dub away from Shingo, he is too pure for that shit

6. After AC got sick that’s when TK should have called an audible and have them on the main card somehow.

7. I think we should be done with Tana at FD main card. Sanada was basically a waste of a main card match too. Hopefully some big matches next year for Shingo and/or Hiromu.

8. I don’t care when or where, I want Shingo vs Brody King in a hoss fight.

11. I have two takeaways about the posts I’m seeing from Japan about this event.

    1. It’s very clear AEW wanted to give big spots to the stars who launched/boosted the careers of those who would eventually be responsible for starting AEW. A lot of them are past their prime, but I saw it as a huge thank you to NJPW and that cohort of NJPW wrestlers.

    2. There seems to be a big demand from NJPW talent themselves to wrestle in this company in big time spots which gives me hope for a lot more crossover in the future.

13. I feel like a lot of njpw wrestlers did get Shafted this show. While there was good stuff It really did feel like AEW ft. NJPW not AEWxNJPW

    Shingo vs Samoa Joe should have been the replacement match for Cole/Lawler

18. My idea for some future WBD corporate synergy…at the next Winter Is Coming event AEW presents A Dance with Dragons: Shingle vs. Danielson.

19. I mean FTR, House of Black and Jay White also didn’t make the show. It was a strange night. Especially as a fan of both and seeing Kojima get a pretty big singles match.

20. Shingo has MASSIVE potential for success in the States, the man just has it all

21. At this rate they need to have Night 1 and Night 2 to meet everyone’s requests.

23. The match should’ve been moved to the main card after Cole/Lawlor got cancelled.

25. He shouldn’t complain about being on the preshow. There’s an long list of top rate guys, from both promotions, that weren’t booked at all.
