Hiromu Takahashi: “I’m glad I was able to come this year. But our match was one that could hardly be called forbidden door. So, next time, it doesn’t have to be the forbidden door. AEW, don’t you want this belt? Darby Allin, Jungle Boy or whoever wants this belt, come and get it!”

  1. I’ve been wanting Darby vs Hiromu since the 1st Forbidden Door was announced

  2. Darby is obviously a jr. But i doubt tony wants to give darby the Jr. Label considering hes fought for the world heavyweight championship.

  3. Darby, AR Fox, Top Flight, Action Andretti, Matt Sydel. The list goes on and on.

  4. I want to say that I love SANADA and I enjoyed his match with Jack Perry (SANADA played it very funnily in my hopinion), but maybe a match for the Junior belt with Hiromu would have been better than putting the Heavyweight match halfway though the show.

  5. The entire time SANADA vs Jungle Boy was happening, I was thinking “this probably would’ve been better received if Jack challenged Hiromu.”

  6. I’d rather see Despy vs Darby. Both would be great matches, but i think Despy/Darby would have a better dynamic given their characters

AEW does need to send more reps and reps higher up on the card to BOSJ. It’s criminal Bandido in particular hasn’t been back yet.

  7. Someone get the forbidden door ready for Darby vs Hiromu! And if they need a referee, I’m available.

  8. I desperately want Hiromu/Darby for the strap to be the main event of Jr. Festival USA.

  9. Honestly I would absolutely love to see them matches happen in Japan or the us

  10. What struck me about the LIJ/UE match was that it was a run-of-the-mill match that could have happened at any road show. The only reason why it happened on Forbidden Door was that Aussie Open signed with AEW.
