I imported some Sansi bulbs bc I couldn’t find anything that bright in Japanese shops. Once they get warm they flicker like crazy and I noticed if I turn the oven on they all flicker even if they weren’t prior to that.
Can I just upgrade the breaker? Or is this because of the thin wiring in the fixture itself?
Anyone experienced anything similar?
My kitchen light fixtures in question had very very thin wiring. If that’s the issue I may replace the fixtures entirely. Currently testing in another room with no issues, but I still don’t know if it’s the breaker or the fixture’s fault.
Edit:
Never mind, other room just now failed. Let me know if anyone needs 6 200w strobe lights 👯♀️👯🔆🌟

Are the bulbs rated to 90-240V or are they specifically for 120V? If the latter, that’s probably why. 200W equivalent is like 25W in LED bulb – this has nothing to do with the breaker or “fixtures”, since they would be designed to support at a minimum 40+ W incandescent bulbs.
LEDs are voltage-sensitive. Since Japan is 100V power, you’re providing them with less voltage than they were designed for, and possibly the wrong frequency as well. I would never expect imported LED light bulbs to work correctly here.
Is this a regular flicker or is it random. I bought some daiso LED bulbs I used in a house I used to rent, never flickered. Tried to use them in my current house and they are sometimes ok and other times will randomly change brightness as different rates but fast enough to call flicker, but not regular like powerline frequency flicker. other LED lights like the overhead kitchen lights and the one ikea bulb we have are rock solid. I bought some chinesium 25W actual (200Wish equivalent) corn led lights from amazon and they are solid too.
The bulbs here usually have three different brightness levels. The brightest light is the daylight 昼光色 version. I don’t know the US lamps but I find the light here generally too bright and was astonished about your post.
