Hi all! I am studying Japanese in yr11 right now, and I’m about N5 or nearly N4 level. I was wondering if someone could write a paragraph on Japanese to test me. I’m not expecting an essay, but it would be really helpful if I can get a paragraph that isn’t the basic textbook stuff I’m used to 😅
I’ve been looking for a change of pace, and I think it would be great to get a challenge.

Twitterは日本で人気が高いのでそちらも調べてみるといいかも。好きなゲームとかアニメとか芸能人とかの呟きが見れるし、文章もあまり長くない。

N5とかN4がどのくらいのレベルかは分かりませんが、11年という長い期間を考えると、OPさんは漢字も分かるのでしょうか？ すごいですね。
私が最近知ったことで日本語にもかんけいある話を一つ。
日本語文のむずかしい漢字のよこに付く小さい「ふりがな」ですが、じつは「ルビ」とも呼ばれています。ほとんどの日本人は知らないと思いますけど、これは宝石のルビー（ruby）から来ていて、昔印刷業（printing）では、文字の大きさを宝石のしゅるいで表したんだそうです。そう、昔はふりがなのフォントサイズがちょうど「ルビー」だったのですね。
