There’s a small tap in the toilet room for washing hands; recently the flow has got kind of sluggish. My wife suggested cleaning it but I can’t see how or where; there’s a little grille where the water comes out so I could try and scrub at that as is, but it feels like there should be a way to open it up or something. Anyone done this before?
As a non-PR holder, has anyone been fired or laid off? If you could find a job within 3 months, what did you do?
Who opens up the crow boxes on trash day? They’re closed when I go to bed, and open (and full) when I get up and take out the trash.
Threw me off ‘cause it wasn’t open this morning and all the trash bags were piled behind the closed-up nets.

We’re moving houses soon so we need to turn off our fridge.
Unfortunately, we have tons of meat still in the freezer and it would be a waste and costly to throw them away.
We already offerred to our friends but they either don’t want it or their fridge is full/too small.
We have a cooler than we plan to use but we’re worried that this will still spoil our meat.

After I see a local clinic or doctor, I often need to sit in the waiting room for 5-10 minutes before they call me up and give me my bill. Why does this process take so long and what are they doing?
I don’t.. blame them, but I’m wondering if the nurses/clerks have to manually calculate my insurance burden? For each patient? Can someone give me a detailed breakdown of what they’re doing?

Jw what would make an order undeliverable so quickly? I’d understand if there was a natural disaster or something.

As a non-American living in Japan, I wonder how difficult it is to get a full-time full-remote position with an American company (game industry).
My current company gave me a short notice about a meeting on Monday where I need to defend all my work done during the trial period, with the possibility of ending the contract by the end of July.
I just want to know what my possibilities are, in case they decide not to convert me to full-time.
I reread my lease contract for my apartment. It doesn’t say anything specific about not painting the walls. Could I simply paint and repaint before I leave? (I’ll be staying in this apartment for at least 5 years, so cost of paint/primer isn’t something I’m concerned about.)
