Toilet

I want to send a washlet home to europe since I‘m returning soon. I heard I need to watch for a volt adapter for starters, any other things I need to know before? Anyone done this before? Originally from germany by the way.

  1. Don’t do it. You can find Japanese brand goods in Europe set up for the local language, plumbing and electric. It looks initially like a savings, but it’s not.

  2. You can find equivalents in DE, Japanese or Korean models (or even Chinese, but I don’t recommend them for obvious reasons).

  3. Do not bring a domestic model abroad. You don’t want to deal with difference in electricity and plumbing. Most washlet vendors sell 海外向け versions which you can actually buy domestically, either online or in the usual hardware shops (but might need to ask for specific model).

INAX CW-RS3-WJ/BW1 for example, or Panasonic DL-RG31JP-WS. Too lazy to look for more.
