Where is the Oden

I just got back from my first trip back to Japan post pandemic and wondered what happened the the Oden in 7/11, Lawson or Family Mart?

I am sure it used to be everywhere but couldn’t find it in Tokyo, Osaka, or Kyoto.

  2. Well for starters, it’s not winter anymore. It’s more of a winter food.

  3. Oden is a winter food – you usually only see it from around September to March.

  4. I think oden has been removed from 7-11 etc due to covid reasons. Many public hand / foot hot springs are also closed.

    Source: Went to japan twice post covid. Went to japan 4 times pre covid.
