Anyone have any experience circumventing/breaking the contract on solar panels for their house by installating / DIY with V2H (vehicle to home/chikusenshi)? Do the solar companies come check your home?
Short background: Solar companies and power companies like Lixil will install solar panels on your house for free , provided you allow them to sell the excess power generated back to the grid and not store it in a battery for like 20 years, contracted.
If I used an EV vehicle as a battery with a self installed solar carport and V2H to provide extra power during night time/cloudy days and eliminate my electric bill almost completely, would I be able to avoid getting dinged for it by some workaround like not connected THEIR solar panels to charge my EV, but letting my EV charge my home as needed?

I would assume the the solar panels aren’t even connected to your house if they want the power the panels provide.
