Hii 🙂 so, I’m starting N3 and did N5 and N4 from the app LingoDeer wich is really good, but I never actually got to study kanji radicals. I’ve found a couple of youtube videos and courses online but they were a little confusing so I wanted to know if anyone has recommendations on where to learn it. Thanks in advance <3

Mdbg lets you look up the radical of any character, though it’s for Chinese so you may have an issue with shinjitai or kokuji

I use an Anki deck to review radicals. It isn’t completely foolproof, but the deck I use gives variations and shows examples of them in kanji
[jisho.org](https://jisho.org/) has a radical search feature which is really useful.
Aside from reading the theory behind kanji composition, rules (left to right, top to bottom…), and changes in radicals…
I drilled [this Memrise course](https://app.memrise.com/course/48242/kangxi-radicals-4/) for like eight hours (until I got tired) on a Saturday and maybe four hours on that Sunday, then the next week I played with writing the radicals (from their English hint) a couple of times in different days, never drilled that course again, and started to learn vocabulary in their kanji form 🤷♀️
I’d say that’s the extent of study you should do related to kanji radicals.

The latest round of updates to the Google IME have made it so the Japanese names of radicals input into the IME now spits them out which is kinda cool.
I think anyone learning about Kanji, should start with some ideas of what sort of radicals are possible.
