I like the system as a complement for my Japanese class. I’m just beginning learning the language and I haven’t gotten to the 3rd level yet. I was looking at the suscription service and it is kinda expensive. My lizard brain thinks that $300 is cheaper in the long run, but $9 doesn’t blow my wallet. Any advise or opinions on the service?

They have been having a Christmas sale every year. Lifetime for $200. If you wanted to wait a while. I have lifetime and I think it’s worth it. Took me far longer to finish then most users. Definitely saved be money in the long run. And now that I’m level 60, I can keep using it, and plan to start resurrecting ones I’ve forgotten. I feel like I’ll always be actively using it for years to come.
Seconding the lifetime subscription sale. You could do monthly until then, although I vaguely remember something about if you get a yearly membership it can be used towards lifetime at no extra cost? That might be 100% wrong but I’ll let you investigate or another redditor confirm / deny.
