Gotta be one of the most poorly booked top guys ever, gets beaten like a drum by (a legendary) old man for the majority of his initial main event arc, then gets absolutely punked by a bigger company’s ace. Pour one out for my boy.
Ironically, it’s because of his ongoing feud with Okada that I started liking him again. He was on fire during his first GHC reign then completely lost momentum right after.
Even the three musketeers, feels on the nose and I’m obviously overthinking it but they will call Uemura the next Once in a century talent, with Yuya winning the title. It just makes even more sense!
