After the Okada tap-out, I’m thinking this is why Okada dropped the belt to SANADA.
NJPW knew they were going to do a FD2, and Tony was probably insisting Danielson go over on Okada …. If that were the case, the only way to protect the IWGP championship was to have Okada drop the belt well in advance.
