Long shot: Looking the clip/article of a (local?) news item my friend and I were featured on during the heavy rains of 2/06/2023 (Nakatsugawa, GIFU)

Hi everyoneMy friend and I were featured on a (local?) news station; This really sweet reporter interviewed us. Afterwards we took a selfie together (see attached link). Has anyone perhaps seen this news item? Is it available somewhere online so we could watch it ourselves?

  1. You’ll need to know which channel/program. Was it the local NHK affiliate? One problem is that you’re pretty late trying to find it. The local NHK news site for Gifu only goes back to June 29th currently.

  3. I’m just here to be “that guy” who will do the correction: that is not a selfie.

  5. News sites in Japan tend to purge old content. You might be able to wayback machine it if you know the date/some info. But otherwise, it’s probably gone.
