From this year I will be using a new clinic for my medical check up and they have a system with additional health check options, see the lists attached. Anyone have something similar and do you/would you choose any additional check ups? Or would you recommend doing any of these extra? Im in my forties but paying 110000 yen extra for a more detailed blood check up? sounds a little too much. Any advice would be appreciated.

these are all options to the regular health check. you dont need to choose any, but if you think you might be susceptible to certain diseases, you can select the ones that might test for that. its up to you to decide what factors you may be up against based on your genetics and current lifestyle.
I do the options every 5 years or so, it is expensive but it’s good to know that things are fine, and if it did find something early then surely it would be the best money I ever spend.
I do a colonoscopy every five years since there is colon cancer in my family, also an echo mammogram instead of the standard mammogram. Instead of paying for the colonoscopy right away, I wait until I have time to talk to the doctor and express my concern due to my family history. That way the doctor will recommend the colonoscopy and the price will be much cheaper that way than me requesting it first.
I get an H.Plyori test as an extra which is for bacteria linked to colon cancer, if you have it they will recommend a colonoscopy.
Also the blood test for main tumors one.
Think I got the pulmonary circulation tests too. My firm pays for 10k of extras and this was a little over
