I plan on going to a Japanese cultural center that does tea ceremonies and I’d like to wear a kimono for it. Im fairly large and would need a 3-4x(US size). Im not really having any luck finding any, are they out there? Or am I out of luck?

Most people rent a kimono.
If you’re looking to purchase one outside of Japan, then, in reality, you’re probably looking at a Halloween costume.
They can be made, but it’s going to cost a lot just for one event.
You could measure yourself and learn to sew one yourself. There are instruction books and also online guides in both Japanese and English. It’s pretty easy!
Search using 「着物 大きいサイズ 」and several shoji doors will slide open online
