1. This man is going to be so over come G1

   For a solid second there I thought KENTA was going to aknowledge Eddie and it would lead to something

2. That would have been a monster pop for Eddie at Forbidden Door, but it clearly seems like winning a title while in Japan means a lot to Eddie and this hopefully will be a good boost for Eddie in the eyes of the Japanese fans heading into the G1 so it makes sense. Good for Eddie.

3. He would leave AEW in a heartbeat for New Japan if they asked, you can just tell it means more to him, dude is living his best life right now.

4. It’s all in the details. Love how he had the ref raise his other hand. Japan fans, what’s the reaction?

5. What title is Eddie holding and whom did he win it from?

6. Sweet. Now we need him and Claudio to wrap up their feud at All In (would be surreal, a rivalry that started in bingo halls ending in Wembley Stadium), and then we’ll have Eddie Two Belts.

7. Almost made my grown ass cry also. People in my meeting asking me what’s wrong? I said you wouldn’t get it lol.

8. Did the update Kingston theme?

   Getting some real G-Dep “Special Delivery” / Lil Wayne/Swizz “Uproar” vibes to some of the sound elements after the intro.

   I’m a nerd about that stuff.

9. This match was a good bout. Kenta is an amazing athlete, and while I don’t like Eddie, I have to give him his props for this match.

10. Finally a title. Now he just needs an AEW belt. Eddie’s rise in mainstream wrestling the past 3ish/4ish years has been special.

11. A great momentum builder for Eddie heading into the G1.

12. I hope it’s not another shoot broken forward to add to Danielson and MJF. Looks kayfabe though.

14. This was very good and Kenta did a great match also. Happy to see Eddy win in Japan and his show of appreciation and respect make me appreciate him even more.

    Will be fun to see how his G1 will turn out!

15. He’s a good worker. Regular dude type wrestler. Just wants to wrestle the best. Not super flashy. Excels at talking.

17. How good was Riccaboni and Charlton for these shows eh? I love KK and hope he never leaves NJPW, but it seems being with AEW means he’ll miss more tours in the future bar the G1.

    If that happens I want Riccaboni in Japan on comms. He has the voice and play by play, talks about other promotions partnered with NJPW like RevPro and CMLL with knowledge.

    I’ve always liked him anyway, but with these group of guys he shone well.

18. That last look KENTA gave Kingston was one of pure hatred…the envy that man feels towards Kingston because HE was the one to shoot knock out Punk instead 😂
